This seven-day prayer guide is designed to help you focus your prayer life and grow closer to God. Each day includes a theme, a Scripture passage to meditate on, and a prayer prompt.

Day 1: Adoration

Scripture: Psalm 145:1-3 Begin by praising God for who He is — His power, His holiness, His love, His faithfulness. Set aside your requests for a moment and simply tell God what you admire and love about Him.

Day 2: Confession

Scripture: 1 John 1:9 Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any sin in your life — attitudes, actions, or omissions. Confess them honestly before God, trusting that He is faithful to forgive and cleanse you. Receive His grace.

Day 3: Thanksgiving

Scripture: Psalm 100:4-5 Make a list of specific things God has done for you — answered prayers, provision, relationships, His presence in difficulty. Thank Him with a grateful heart.

Day 4: Intercession for Family

Scripture: Colossians 1:9-12 Pray for each family member by name. Ask God to fill them with knowledge of His will, to strengthen them for every challenge, and to draw them closer to Himself.

Day 5: Intercession for Your Church

Scripture: Ephesians 3:14-21 Pray for your pastor, church leaders, and congregation. Ask God to empower your church for effective ministry, unity, and genuine love for one another and the community.

Day 6: Petition for Personal Needs

Scripture: Philippians 4:6-7 Bring your personal needs before God — work, health, finances, relationships, decisions. Cast your anxieties on Him, trusting that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Day 7: Surrender and Listening

Scripture: Psalm 46:10 Spend today's prayer time in quiet surrender. Tell God you are willing to follow wherever He leads. Then be still and listen. Write down any thoughts, impressions, or Scriptures that come to mind.
